If you told me that magic existed, I would have laughed at your face. Yes, I wrote about fae, but they were just stories. Until the night of the storm, when a tree broke and was about to crush me, but a guy with bright sapphire eyes moved it out of the way, with a wave of his hand! And then, after taking me home, he disappeared without even telling me his name.

My eyes searched for him, when I entered the only school that would accept me after what I did last year. Yes, I had a dark past to hide– a shameful winter I wish I could forget and put behind me. And I was living a double life under a pen name now. The last thing I had time for was guys. Or magic. But on my first day of school, I got both.
