I don’t know what was the bigger shock: discovering that Merlin really existed, or that he’d be my teacher when I time traveled. My best friend there was a fairy princess. No, that’s not true. My best friend was Seth. Was, because now we can barely be in the same room together.
He wants to talk about what happened back then, and go back to our normal life in today’s world: to be Kim and Seth, college students in Oxford who are staying temporarily in Scotland. But I can’t, because he went behind my back and the very thought of the consequences hurts so bad.
